PeaceHealth Ore­gon CEO O’Leary an­nounces exit

Rand O’Leary, CEO of PeaceHealth Ore­gon, is leav­ing the health sys­tem after nearly four years. No rea­son was given for his de­par­ture, which will take ef­fect April 20. His re­place­ment has not yet been se­lected.

PeaceHealth Ore­gon in­cludes four med­i­cal cen­ters and it is part of the larger PeaceHealth sys­tem, which also op­er­ates fa­cil­i­ties in Washington and Alaska. The Catholic sys­tem em­ploys about 16,000 care­givers and runs 10 hos­pi­tals in urban and ru­ral com­mu­ni­ties through­out the North­west.

O’Leary pre­vi­ously was se­nior vice pres­i­dent and chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer of Henry Ford Wyan­dotte (Mich.) Hos­pi­tal. He also served as vice pres­i­dent of op­er­a­tions at As­cen­sion’s Borgess Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Kala­ma­zoo, Mich.
