Knitted polka dot socks are a treat for feet

We love a quirky pair of ankle socks paired with cute shoes. Or simply being able to fashionably pad around the house, and this pair by Anna Wilkinson is perfect for either option. It might look daunting, but the beauty of knitting in the round with double-pointed needles is that you’re always working a RS row. Most knitters can knit quicker than they can purl so, once you get used to handling the needles, it’s nice and quick.

Socks (make two)

Using 2.25mm double-pointed needles and CC, cast on 78 sts. Arrange the sts so there are 22 sts on the first needle, 17 sts on the second, 17 sts on the third, and then 22 sts on the fourth.
