ON THE COVER

Mopar Muscle - - Contents -

This month’s cover car comes from south of the border. In 1974 new-car buyers in the U.S. were offered Plymouth Dusters, Twisters, or the Duster 360, while in Mexico newcar buyers were offered a similar model called a Plymouth Valiant and could opt for a Super Bee package. Obviously, the U.S. market was earlier offered Super Bees, but with the Dodge brand instead. This Plymouth Super Bee is no longer powered by its original 318, but instead a high-horsepower big-block Chrysler. Cover photo by John Machaqueiro
