❱❱ Num­ber of steps taken daily (on av­er­age) by suc­cess­ful “weight losers” — those who lost 30 or more pounds and kept it off for at least a year — in a study con­ducted at the Colorado School of Pub­lic Health and pre­sented at the meet­ing of the Amer­i­can Pub­lic Health As­so­ci­a­tion in late 2016. The ex­per­i­ment also in­cluded “nor­mal weight” and “over­weight” in­di­vid­u­als; those folks walked an av­er­age of 9,000 and 7,000 steps per day, re­spec­tively.
