Glad They Sold the ’Vette

The 1978 King Cobra you see here is owned by Angie Hall of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. Her husband, Anthony, bought it for her after selling her Corvette (his email made it sound like she was none too pleased about that either). To make amends and get out of the dog house, Anthony told his wife she could do whatever she wanted to the little II. “So the first thing she does is order a Roush crate engine with a ton of polished and chrome accessories,” Anthony tells us. From there, the credit card just got hotter with a full restoration including a Heidts front suspension, custom interior, and more. However, Angie wasn’t done. She told Anthony she really wanted a polished IRS system on her Pony. A Mr. Roadster IRS found its way under the rear. Anthony tells us the car has also been autographed by the likes of Jack Roush, Chip Foose, George Barris, Gene Winfield, Don Garlits, and Brett Wagner.
