LONGTIME TARGET GUNNED DOWN AT DRIVE-THRU
A VICIOUS mob vendetta has finally been settled — in a brutal public bloodbath! Sylvester Zottola, 71, a longtime member of New York’s Bonanno crime family, was fatally shot while waiting for a cup of coffee at a McDonald’s drive-thru.
The hit, in a mob-infested area of the Bronx, was the third attempt on Zottola’s life in the past year and the fourth on his family!
As The National ENQUIRER reported, a would-be assassin shot his son, Salvatore, outside his home on July 11.
The attack was caught on security cameras, but the hitman has yet to be captured. Cops believe the attempt was meant as a message for Salvatore’s now-dead dad. Months earlier, another gun-wielding thug tried to force the elder Zottola into a car, but he escaped.
The gangster also cheated death last December when burglars broke into his home and stabbed him in the neck! The end finally came without dignity as his car was boxed in at the fast food joint’s drivethru line on Oct. 4.
Cops called the murder a “mob-style execution.” Zottola took a single shot to the head and four to his torso.
The hits keep coming!
