BOOZER BEN ADDICTION FLICK WILL BURY HIM!

ROLE OF ALCOHOLIC HAS-BEEN COULD SPARK RELAPSE

National Enquirer - - NEWS -

TROUBLED Ben Affleck’s new movie hits too close to home for his friends’ comfort!

The 46-year-old boozechallenged “Batman” actor, who just completed his fourth in-patient rehab stint in two years, is playing an alcoholic former high school basketball star who wrecked his career and marriage — in a movie tentatively and ironically titled “The Has-Been!”

“Ben has his heart set on winning another Oscar,” a source snitched. “He can identify with the character’s tortured soul.”

A little too much, according to insiders.

“This guy is like the mirror image of Ben,” said the source. “This role will pull him straight back into the dark hole he’s trying to pull himself out of!” As The National ENQUIRER has reported, Ben’s battle with addictions to booze, women and gambling have left his 13-year-marriage to Jennifer Garner in shambles and has put his career on life support. After an August bender, his soon-to-be ex-wife issued Ben an ultimatum to check into rehab and sober up — or stay away from their three kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Sam, 6.

“Ben sees this as his big comeback, but everybody’s afraid this movie will be way too emotionally damaging for him.”
