WIFE SAVES TALKER MONTEL FROM STROKE DEATH!

MONTEL WIL­LIAMS cheated death af­ter suf­fer­ing a se­cret “hem­or­rhagic” stroke that landed him in the hos­pi­tal for 21 days!

The 62-year-old for­mer talk show host — who’s long suf­fered from mul­ti­ple sclero­sis — fell ill in May while lift­ing weights in NYC and re­cently ad­mit­ted, “I al­most died.”

Montel said of the scary in­ci­dent: “I heard a loud pop ... and ev­ery­thing turned into kalei­do­scope.

“I called my wife [Tara Fowler] and told her I may be hav­ing a stroke, so please call 911!”

Thanks to her swift ac­tion, emer­gency re­spon­ders ad­min­is­tered a CAT scan right on the street and saved his life!

Hem­or­rhagic strokes cause bleed­ing on the brain that’s of­ten fa­tal, ac­cord­ing to a doc­tor con­sulted by The Na­tional EN­QUIRER.

Though Montel re­ports he’s fully re­cov­ered, one physi­cian said he’s far from out of the woods!

Dr. Stu­art Fis­cher — who has not treated the long­time TV talker — noted, “He will need con­stant ex­am­i­na­tions by a neu­rol­o­gist to pre­vent an­other po­ten­tially deadly episode!”
