GRETCHEN F. FAULKNER

Gretchen F. Faulkner is Director of the Hudson Museum at the University of Maine in Orono. She has collaborated with the Maine Indian Basketmakers Alliance for more than 20 years on exhibitions documenting traditional and contemporary Maine Indian basketry, events ranging from an annual marketplace, fairs and festivals, and artist showcases, to documentary film projects and collection collaborations. The Hudson Museum’s holdings include an extensive assemblage of Maine Indian baskets and basketmaking tools.
