BO JOE (NAVAJO)

-

Intricate detail, clean lines and elegant designs are the hallmarks of Bo Joe’s jewelry work. The Kirtland, New Mexico, artist—brother to painter Hyrum Joe, and son of painter and sculptor Oreland Joe—is returning to Indian Market this year with works that show off turquoise and his sophisticated designs. “The jewelry is inspired from the many different layers of my life. At my core rests culture and tradition. I’ve allowed myself to follow a path of my ancestors of Navajo and Ute. The opportunity to honor their direction in a creative way will allow me to continue to preserve culture through art.”
