FELICIA GABALDON (CHOCTAW)

Native American Art - - GUIDE TO MARKET -

“I view my work as individually representing my ancestors and their culture. In this body of work I hope to suggest that my family’s history is all but lost; it is embodied. My work manifests a nostalgic illustration of the natural beauty of the American Southwest, while also reexamining it. I draw from the imagination both a mythical and mystic part of human experience in the natural world.”
