MENZIES, ROBERT W.

Robert W. Menzies, 93, of Wallingford, formerly of North Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Masonicare Health Center, Walllingford. Robert was born in Bridgeport on April 18, 1925 and was the son of the late Robert W. Menzies, Sr. and Esther Wilson Menzies. He served his country faithfully in the US Army during WW II. Robert had worked in retail display for numerous department stores, lastly at Jordan Marsh. Uncle of Laurel Groshong, Paul Schlichting and Howard Zinn, Jr. Predeceased by sisters Catherine Zinn and Marion Schlichting. Friends are invited to go directly to Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford on Monday morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery with full military honors.
