VICE PRESIDENT Biden threw his support behind Gov. Cuomo’s push for mandatory paid family leave Friday, saying parents should not have to “leave the bedside of your dying son or daughter to go to work."

The two men kicked off “Strong Families, Strong New York” with about 500 parents and caregivers at the McBurney YMCA on W. 14th St. Cuomo wants a 12-week mandatory paid family leave in New York for anyone needing to care for a newborn or a seriously ill relative.
