Utah school shooting

SANDY, Utah — A 16-year-old boy was in critical condition Tuesday after another boy shot him outside a school, cops said.

The boys got into an argument after classes let out at Union Middle School, police spokesman Dean Carriger told the Daily News. He said the wounded teen was taken to a hospital and the suspect was in custody.

A witness told KSTU the boys were going to fight with their fists, but one pulled a gun, fired and hit his rival twice before collapsing in tears.
