With Robert Thomas (soreness) injured, veteran Jay Bromley and rookie Dalvin Tomlinson both played well in the battle to play alongside Damon Harrison as the other defensive tackle. Tomlinson (four tackles) made three run stops in 27 snaps, per Pro Football Focus, and Bromley (three tackles) is playing with “hostility,” in McAdoo’s words. Another name to watch: depth end Jordan Williams had a sack and three tackles, and given that he’s also listed as Zak DeOssie’s backup at long-snapper, he could be a dark-horse to watch.
