2 KILLED, 6 HURT IN FINNISH ATTACK

TWO PEOPLE were killed and six others were wounded in a stabbing attack in the Finnish city of Turku Friday. A suspect was taken into custody after being shot in the leg, but authoritie­s were looking for more potential attackers. The man’s identity and nationalit­y are being investigat­ed. Police did not give any informatio­n on the two people killed or the conditions of those wounded in downtown Turku, about 106 miles west of Helsinki, the capital. A woman with a stroller was attacked by a man with a large knife, Tabloid Ilta-Sanomat reported. Security was being stepped up across the Nordic country, according to Interior Minister Paula Risikko.
