2 KILLED, 6 HURT IN FINNISH ATTACK
TWO PEOPLE were killed and six others were wounded in a stabbing attack in the Finnish city of Turku Friday. A suspect was taken into custody after being shot in the leg, but authorities were looking for more potential attackers. The man’s identity and nationality are being investigated. Police did not give any information on the two people killed or the conditions of those wounded in downtown Turku, about 106 miles west of Helsinki, the capital. A woman with a stroller was attacked by a man with a large knife, Tabloid Ilta-Sanomat reported. Security was being stepped up across the Nordic country, according to Interior Minister Paula Risikko.
