Zuck shares his new baby on facebook
THE ZUCKERBERG network just got bigger.
Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, have welcomed their second child — a girl named August.
Zuckerberg announced the happy news — in a Facebook post, naturally — on Monday by sharing a message addressed to the new baby that explained the importance of enjoying childhood.
“Childhood is magical. You only get to be a child once, so don’t spend it worrying too much about the future,” read the letter from both Zuckerberg and Chan.
“You’ve got us for that, and we’ll do everything we possibly can to make sure the world is a better place for you and all children in your generation.
“August, we love you so much and we’re so excited to go on this adventure with you,” the post continued. “We wish you a life of joy, love and the same hope you give us.”
They did not reveal the baby’s date of birth, but the Facebook post said she was born in August.
The couple, who met in 2003 at Harvard and wed in 2012, also have a daughter, Max, born in November 2015.
