Prince’s sister spilled the royal beans about the pop icon this week, revealing his favorite color was orange — even though he was synonymous with purple.

The star, who was widely known for his hit song “Purple Rain” and nicknamed the Purple One — apparently didn’t even like the color all that much.

Tyka Nelson opened up to the Evening Standard about her brother while discussing an exhibition of the late musician’s items now making its way to London. One of the standout items is Prince’s orange Cloud guitar, which was made for his 2007 Super Bowl halftime performance.
