Cabbie kills woman, flees

A HIT-AND-RUN cab driver killed a woman Wednesday morning on the Upper East Side, police said.

The cabbie’s Toyota Camry struck the woman as she stepped out from between two parked vehicles on Lexington Ave. at E. 68th St. about 5:10 a.m., according to authoritie­s. A GUNMAN fatally shot a teenager outside an East Harlem housing developmen­t Wednesday night.

The gunman hit the 17-year-old victim in his chest just after 10 p.m. on

Police were not immediatel­y able to identify the woman, who witnesses said was homeless and was often seen in the area.

Medics rushed the victim to New York-Presbyteri­an Hospital Weill Cornell, where she died.

Police were still looking for the driver of the cab. Park Ave. at E. 110th St., near the Lehman Village Houses. Medics took him to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he died.
