Park attack probe
COPS WERE scouring Central Park late Monday for a possible sexual assault suspect, after a woman said a man attacked her at knifepoint.
Police were still sorting out the details of the attack, which took place near East Drive and E. 109th St. at about 9:15 p.m., sources said.
The victim, cops said, wasn’t cooperating with investigators. Police believe she was assaulted, and possibly robbed, and were still trying to determine if she was also the victim of a sex attack, sources said. Drug paraphernalia was found nearby, sources said.
