Man, 91, hit by van dies

A 91-YEAR-OLD man was struck and killed by a van just a block from his home Saturday, police said.

Robert Stevenson was walking on Lenox Ave. when he was hit by a northbound vehicle near W. 140th St. at 2:30 p.m., according to cops.

Medics raced the man, who lived in the nearby Savoy Park Apartments, to Harlem Hospital, where he died.

The 46-year-old van driver remained at the scene. He faced no immediate charges. A MAN was found dead after firefighte­rs extinguish­ed a blaze inside a Brooklyn home Saturday, authoritie­s said.

The body was discovered inside a house on Chauncey St. near Saratoga Ave. in Bushwick around 9:30 a.m., cops said.
