For those turning 65 choosing health care coverage that promotes healthy living and independen­ce is important to help maintain your overall well-being. There are various health care coverage options to explore, from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan.

AgeWell New York Health Plans offers some guidance to help you navigate your enrollment options to make a healthy choice to support your overall wellness.

When you become eligible for Medicare, you can enroll in Part A & Part B, often referred to as Original Medicare. The different parts of Medicare help cover specific services such as hospital costs and medical care after deductible­s, co-insurance and/or premiums.
