Where the boys and girls are

The Boy Scouts will soon admit girls, albeit in separate groups — a great organization’s response to overwhelming parent demand. Girls will ultimately be able to reach the heights of Eagle rank and the skills and networks that brings (ask Mike Bloomberg, Steven Spielberg and Rex Tillerson). Cue the handwringing. Before you know it, girls and boys will sing alongside one another in church choirs. Play alongside one another on soccer teams. Learn alongside one another in schools. Grow up to fight alongside one another in our armed forces. Whatever will we do then?
