Coney Island crew member linked to hit

- Andrew Keshner

BROOKLYN FEDERAL prosecutors say they’ve collared a violent Coney Island gang member for his alleged role in a 2010 double murder.

Nabiu Mansaray was one of the people allegedy linked to the hit on two members of the “Thirty-O” gang, according to an indictment. The victims were gunned down while sitting in their car after they left a Manhattan nightclub.

Mansaray is getting roped into a 2016 indictment with Frank Smith, 32, who’s another reputed member of the gang. Smith’s case is pending.

The crews — with names like “Rival Impact” and the “Mermaid Boys” — used drug dealing and violence to keep a grip on their turf between 2000 and 2014, prosecutors say.

Mansaray, 33, was arrested last month in Maryland. He was remanded after his Thursday arraignment in Brooklyn federal court. Mansaray faces charges including racketeering, murder in aid of racketeering and drug trafficking.

The charges make Mansaray eligible for the death penalty, but prosecutors would first have to opt to make it a capital case.
