Guilty in ‘devil’ slay of her tot

A MENTALLY ILL woman who smothered her toddler in the bathroom of a Midtown burger restaurant and claimed “the devil made me do it” pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Monday.

Latisha Fisher, a paranoid schizophrenic, is expected to get 18 years behind bars in exchange for her plea in the death of 20-month-old Gavriel OrtizFisher (photo) in the bathroom of 5 Boro Burger on W. 36th St.

Fisher, 38, spent 40 minutes in the bathroom snuffing the life out of little boy on March 30, 2015.

The doomed tot had blue lips and was foaming from the nose when he was discovered by employees. Fisher was “sitting on the closed toilet seat crying and rocking the child,” according to prosecutors.

She is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 20.

Shortly before the tragedy, Fisher was given a clean bill of mental health in connection with another violent case. She avoided prison for the 2011 stabbing of her aunt by agreeing to enter an alternative treatment program.
