JUDD SAYS BUST HARV – CONFIDENTIAL:

-

OCK HIM UP!

LAshley Judd isn’t angry with Harvey Weinstein, but she is “relieved” to know the district attorney’s office is working to bring sexual assault charges against the disgraced movie mogul. “Yes,” she told a source who chatted with her at a Plaza Hotel event. “It’s a good thing.” Judd (inset) also repeated what she’s told “Good Morning America” – that she has forgiven Weinstein for sexually harassing her in a hotel room in 1997. But she told our insider that isn’t for his sake. “I forgive him, but it’s not a favor,” she told our source. “I do it for myself. It doesn’t mean I condone or accept his behavior.” Our insider was blown away by Judd’s openness and thinks Weinstein is in big trouble if he goes to trial over the dozens of sexual assault claims that have been made against him. It was Judd who inspired more than 50 other women to speak out against Weinstein after she openly made her accusations in The New York Times last month.

“She seems eminently likable, very reliable – she’d be frightening on the witness stand,” we’re told.

Our insider said caught up with the “Insurgent” actress before she spoke at the Audrey B. Gruss Hope for Depression luncheon where she was being honored. We’re told that Judd’s phone was buzzing before the speech and it turned out to be her mom, singer

Wynonna Judd, wishing her luck on her voice mail. And she needed it for the speech she was about to deliver, in which Judd spoke of two times in her life when she was sexually assaulted – once in second grade and again in junior high. Her recollection is foggy.

“I was wearing a green and gold cheerleading uniform, which is all I know. Which means I as in the seventh grade or eighth grade,” she recalled. “My mother recorded it and the police followed up when he moved recently.”

Ashley Judd, 49, said she got a heads-up from the police to tell her the offender had moved to a different county.
