VIKINGS at LIONS

-

HANK’S HONEYS:

Lions have too many flaws that get exposed against good teams and the Vikings are a very good team, as balanced as any right now. Lions can’t stop run since Haloti Ngata went on IR, with 423 rush yards allowed the last two weeks as they’ve struggled to beat the Browns and Bears. They can’t always rely on Matt Stafford pulling games out late, not against this defense, which has allowed more than 17 points just once in last eight games. Lions won the first meeting, 14-7, but that was before Case Keenum found his groove. Trends favor the Lions, who have beaten the Vikes three straight and have covered five straight Turkey Day matinees. That streak ends here. Better team wins.

IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Vikings and the under. HANK’S HONEYS:
