‘Shameless’ kid DuI bust

LIFE COULD be imitating art for actor Ethan Cutkosky.

Cutkosky — who plays Carl Gallagher on the hit Showtime series “Shameless” — is charged with driving under the influence, TMZ reported Friday.

The 18-year-old allegedly reeked of marijuana and admitted to Los Angeles officers that he smoked pot, when he was pulled over for straddling traffic lanes at 10: 30 p.m. on Nov.7.

The Burbank city attorney just filed a DUI charge against Cutkosky this week, TMZ reported.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Cutkosky faces up to six months in jail, a $1,000 fine and the possible loss of his license if convicted.

He was also charged with traffic violations from the night of his arrest.

Cutkosky's “Shameless” character has a rebellious streak that landed him in a juvenile detention center.
