Artie Lange off to rehab

ARTIE LANGE is getting help.

The troubled comedian was reportedly taking a private jet to an undisclosed rehab facility on Friday — months after he pled guilty to possession of 81 small bags of heroin worth up to $500 in May, according to TMZ.

Lange was arrested earlier this week after he missed a court date in Newark, N.J., in relation to the charge.

He is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 23.

The private jet he was set to board after being released from jail was paid for by two unidentified comedian friends, TMZ reported.

Lange, 50, has had problems with drugs throughout his career. In a radio interview this year, he said heroin “becomes a living hell.”
