MeToo at Times Sq.

- Terence Cullen

TARANA BURKE, founder of the Me Too movement, will kick off the New Year’s Eve ball drop in Times Square to ring in 2018.

Burke, 44, of Harlem, will press the Waterford crystal button to start the ball’s 60-second descent over the Crossroads of the World.

“I am delighted to be participating in this momentous occasion,” Burke said. “I think it’s fitting to honor the Me Too movement as we close a historic year and set our intentions for 2018.”

The last few months have seen her sexual-harassment-focused “Me Too” campaign, founded in 2007, catapulted into the national spotlight, with women accusers named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.
