Killed walking between cars

A STRAPHANGER was struck and killed by a Manhattan subway train after he fell between cars Friday night, police said.

The southbound C train had just left the 14th St. station when the man slipped and tumbled onto the tracks at 8:20 p.m., cops said.

The train jolted to a halt, leaving passengers stranded for more than two hours as medics rushed to save the man. He died at the scene.

Commuters were eventually taken back to the 14th St. station by another train.

The man’s name was not immediately released.
