Streep: Do not rip me, rip Melania

MERYL STREEP has deflected criticism over her silence on the Harvey Weinstein scandal — straight to the women of the White House.

“I don’t want to hear about the silence of me. I want to hear about the silence of Melania Trump,” Streep, 68, told The New York Times.

“I want to hear from her. She has so much that’s valuable to say. And so does Ivanka. I want her to speak now,” Streep added.

The Oscar-winner’s claims that she never had any inkling of Weinstein’s alleged sexual misconduct have been met with taunts of hypocrisy from celebrities including Weinstein victim Rose McGowan.
