Giannis helps Knicks clinch losing season

- BUCKS KNICKS 120 112

MILWAUKEE — The Knicks bid farewell to the Bradley Center on Friday knowing full well that when the Bucks move into their new arena next season, Giannis Antetokounmpo is moving with them. And that’s a problem.

The Greek Freak, who is making a habit out of tormenting the Knicks, scored 13 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Bucks defeated the Knicks 120-112. The loss for the Knicks (24-42) was their sixth straight and it clinched a fifth straight losing season.

Milwaukee snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 35-31. They’ve won all three meetings against the Knicks, including a Feb. 6th game at Madison Square Garden that included Kristaps Porzingis suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Antetokounmpo, who finished with 10 rebounds and five assists, attempted 18 free throws, including nine in the fourth. The Knicks attempted a total of 14 free throws. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the Knicks with 26 points and Khris Middleton led all scorers with 30. Emmanuel Mudiay scored 19 points, all in the second half. Troy Williams added 18. — Isola
