Ten more women came forward, causing Lauer to concede “there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrasse­d and ashamed.” A top booker on the show also lost his jobs in the aftermath of the scandal. Less than two months after that, “Today” show producer stepped aside. “Sure, I mean some of the employees that I worked with are gone. There’s definitely been a turnover,” Daly conceded. “You see that. It’s a small group on air, but it feels good. It feels evolved. Like anything in life and in business, it feels like next chapter.”

Daly, who joined “Today” in 2013, assured us that he won’t be in any chapters of a highly anticipate­d tell-all about

coming out on March 27, despite the fact the two were childhood friends who grew up golfing together. In 2009, Woods infamously checked into a therapy program following numerous reports of infidelity that led to his 2010 divorce.

“I am not in the book, I can guarantee that,” Daly said. The last thing he needs is to worry about that sort of thing. Friday’s “Today” show aired a video in which Daly revealed he suffered from panic attacks while working for MTV between 1998 and 2002.

“It’s something that I can’t change about myself, and in fact, it’s OK, I’ve learned to embrace it,” he said in the video. “Hopefully, by just being honest and opening up, it will inspire others to do the same.” (center), whose “This is Us” character Jack Pearson died of a heart attack due to smoke inhalation from a house fire, posed with some New York firefighte­rs to promote fire safety.
