2. TIGHT END
The Jets lost Austin Seferian-Jenkins on Thursday when the tight end signed with the Jaguars on a two-year deal. Now Maccagnan needs to fill that hole. The Jets did draft Jordan Leggett out of Clemson in the fifth round last year, but he didn’t play in a single regular-season game after injuring his knee in the preseason. Leggett eventually needed surgery. The Jets are surely expecting more contributions from Leggett. They also re-signed Eric Tomlinson, who emerged a strong run-blocking tight end.
