Bravest dies, another hurt in Harlem film set fire

oNE CITY firefighte­r is dead and another is seriously hurt after a raging fouralarm fire broke out on a film set in a Hamilton Heights apartment building Thursday night, sources said early Friday.

The fire broke out on St. Nicholas ave. at w. 149th St. at about 10:50 p.m., on the set of “Motherless Brooklyn,” an adaptation of the Jonathan Lethem novel of the same name, starring Edward Norton.

“This is a tragedy. Please, give us some privacy,” Norton said at the scene.

The five-story building is home to the former St. Nick’s Jazz Pub, a historic Harlem nightspot that closed its doors in 2011

The firefighte­rs were rushed to Harlem Hospital. Three other people suffered minor injuries.
