MELANIA SPLIT TALK – CONFIDENTIAL:
ANOTHER day, another joke at Melania Trump’s expense. Though this time, the barbs are coming from a group that could be of use to the embattled First Lady — divorce lawyers. When celebrity divorce attorney Susan Moss did her impression of Melania (inset) in front of the Women’s Bar Association at a fall conference in Colorado, she had no idea that President alleged infidelities would be dominating the headlines six months later. Now, we’re told that her firm, which has handled divorce cases for Star Jones, Annette Lauer, Tory Burch and Diandra Douglas, is planning to unveil a 2.0 version of that skit at a legal conference that will take place in Manhattan later this year.
It was a mostly serious “twohour speech on dispensing financial assets in a divorce, using the First Couple as an example,” according to one legal eagle familiar with the conference in Beaver Creek, Colo. At that event, Moss wore a mask and spoke in a Slovenian accent, while another lawyer from her prominent Manhattan law firm Chemtob, Moss, Forman & Beyda sported a mask of The Donald and kept interrupting to say “fake news.”
“Moss detailed forensic measures that could prove how much Melania’s lifestyle costs so a judge could determine her potential alimony payments despite the fact that the President’s tax returns might say he has zero income because of tax loopholes,” according to our source.
Discussions about how many more humiliating reports of infidelity by her husband that Melania would tolerate came to a head on Wednesday, when Daily News columnist S.E. Cupp penned a piece urging the First Lady to “set an example for all the young women in America” and become the first First Lady to divorce a sitting President.
Porn star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal have both filed suits seeking to be released from nondisclosure agreements that prohibit them from discussing their alleged flings with The Donald. The women claim their affairs happened in 2006, shortly after Melania gave birth to Barron Trump. Trump surrogates have denied those stories.
