Inmate phone snitches on 3 in prison sex
A PRISONER’S confiscated cell phone led to the arrests of two state correction officers and a former head prison cook for having sex or inappropriate romantic relationships with prisoners, the Westchester County district attorney announced Thursday.
“All three took advantage of their position in relation to inmates,” said District Attorney Anthony Scarpino Jr. during a press conference detailing the arrests. The case began after investigators searched a prisoner’s cell phone at the Taconic Correctional Facility in Bedford Hills, officials said.
