Actress’ ex convicted in $300M scam

THE SCAMMING ex-husband of “Sopranos” actress JamieLynn Sigler was convicted Friday of running a $300-million pumpand-dump scheme.

Abraxas (A.J.) Discala, hyped up worthless shares in companies with slim assets, then left investors holding worthless stock.

The 47-year-old former actor made off with millions, running OmniView Capital Advisors LLC, prosecutor said.

The jury found Discala guilty of securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy charges.

He married Jamie-Lynn Sigler in 2003. She divorced him three years later. Sigler was not implicated in the crime. The feds arrested Discala in 2014.

Discala’s “criminal game of musical shares cost unsuspecti­ng investors millions,” said Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue.

Discala’s lawyer said he’d “continue to fight on behalf of Mr. Discala.” The fraudster is facing up 20 years in prison at sentencing.

Kyleen Cane, a lawyer also charged in the crime was acquitted.
