Guilty of freeman kin slay

THE BOYFRIEND of Morgan Freeman’s 33-year-old stepgranddaughter was convicted of manslaughter Monday for stabbing her in 2015.

The judge found Lamar Davenport, 33, guilty of knifing E’Dena Hines (photo inset, top) 25 times outside the couple’s W. 162nd St. apartment building. The conviction could get him 25 years to life in prison. Davenport (photo inset, bottom) showed no emotion as he heard the verdict.

The boyfriend’s lawyer argued he was high on PCP when he straddled her and repeatedly plunged the knife into her. Witness Xavier Gardere testified he said, “I love you. I always loved you. God would have wanted this.”

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ellen Biben acquitted him of murder charges, adopting a version of his defense that he was emotionally disturbed due to a drug-induced psychosis.

Another witness, Cristina Aviles, told the court that Davenport was raving about the devil as he attacked his girlfriend.

“She had demons in her that he has to release,” Aviles recalled.

Hines was the daughter of “The Shawshank Redemption” actor’s stepdaughter, whom he adopted when he married his first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw.
