A BROOKLYN matron was discovered bound and fatally shot Friday night inside the apartment she shared with her two adult children, police said.

The daughter of Ana Devalle, 62, a disabled factory worker, made the horrifying discovery just before 7 p.m. in their Bushwick Houses apartment.

“Her daughter found her when she opened the door,” said a neighbor, who declined to give her name. “She was screaming and crying.”

Devalle lived in the Moore St. apartment with her grown son and daughter. Her daughter worked and went to school, while her son worked and looked after her, friends said.

Devalle worked in a factory until two years ago, when she had an accident that left her unable to work, the neighbor said.

She spent her days at a community center. Residents said the family are “nice and quiet.”

“I can’t believe it,” the neighbor said. “I have no idea who would do this.”

Julie Rivera, 75, who also lives in the building, said the death of Devalle shook her up.

“I’m still in shock,” she said. “I can’t believe she was bound and shot. If this can happen to her, it can happen to any of us. I want to move.”

Rivera said the son was a peaceful man.

“He’s never been in trouble,” she said. “He’s a very quiet, reserved person.”
