PRESIDENT TRUMP claimed he was clueless about the events that led fallen movie mogul Harvey Weinstein to be booked in Manhattan Friday on rape and sexual assault charges. “(I’m) not familiar with the case,” Trump told reporters at the White House a few hours after the mogul surrendered at the NYPD’s 1st Precinct. “But it’s too bad,” he added. Trump’s statement countered his comments months ago that he’d heard about the sexual misconduct complaints against the disgraced Hollywood heavyweight. Asked about the Weinstein matter in October, Trump said: “I’ve known Harvey Weinstein for a long time. I’m not at all surprised to see it.”
