Biker slams into van, dies in Qns.

A MOTORCYCLI­ST zipping down a residentia­l Queens street died after he slammed into the side of a minivan, police said Sunday.

The biker was riding west at a high rate of speed on 113th Drive when his 2015 Honda motorcycle smashed into the passenger side of a Toyota Sienna entering the intersecti­on at 221st St. in Cambria Heights around 10:15 p.m., according to authoritie­s.

The biker, who was not immediatel­y identified, suffered severe body trauma as a result of the crash. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital but could not be saved.

The 55-year-old minivan driver and his passenger were treated for minor injuries at North Shore Medical Center.

The driver came to a complete stop at a stop sign before entering the intersecti­on, cops said.

There were no immediate signs of criminalit­y.
