Police cars in bangup after sex shop rob

IT WAS A crime of lust.

Cops nabbed two men Monday after they stuck up the Candy Love Inc. sex shop in Brooklyn and caused a police car accident, authorities said. Two police cruisers collided at Fourth Ave. and 32nd St. in Brooklyn as cops responded to the holdup.

The two men robbed Candy Love, on Third Ave. near 32nd St. around 6:45 p.m., before bolting from the scene, police sources said.

Cops cuffed one of the men (photo) immediately. The other was found hiding under a Honda CRV a few hundred feet from the X-rated store, the sources said.

Before diving beneath the SUV, the man attempted to climb into an occupied truck.

“He said ‘Dude can I get into your car?’ I was like, ‘Hell, no!’ I was with my 3-year-old daughter,” said Brooklynite John Santos.

Three cops were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Police recovered a gun nearby and were investigating.
