Fed charge for cyber stalk of ex
A MANHATTAN lawyer who turned into an ex-boyfriend from hell was hit with federal cyberstalking charges Friday for terrorizing his former lover.
David Waldman, 50, launched a relentless campaign against his banker ex-girlfriend after she ended their fourmonth relationship — bombarding her with vile texts and emails, launching hateful web pages and even sending a letter to her boss claiming she’s a drug addict, prosecutors said.
“I only hope you die of cervical cancer before I can f--- up your s---,” Waldman wrote on a website he created in 2014 called eurotrashroyalty.blogspot.com.
Waldman met his ex through a dating site in November 2013, Manhattan federal prosecutors said. The romance ended in March 2014. Waldman began firing off freaky emails to his ex the next month.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office charged Waldman with stalking and criminal contempt in December 2014 in connection with his abuse of his former girlfriend. But the charges apparently did nothing to slow down his twisted desire to torment her.
Waldman, who lives in Inwood, was arrested Friday and charged with one count of cyberstalking and one count of sending interstate threats.
