Aaron Boone elected to go with the same lineup on Friday as he would’ve Thursday. That meant Gary Sanchez and Miguel Andujar sat again. Sanchez had been slumping and dealing with calf cramps recently, while Andujar had a collision with Yuli Gurriel while fielding a ball at third in Wednesday’s game.

“Obviously with Sonny pitching if I would’ve put Gary in, it probably would’ve been in the DH role,” Boone said. “I still feel good about at this time of the year, being able to give him a couple days.”
