Man fatally shot sitting in van in Qns.
A 26-YEAR-OLD man was shot to death as he sat in the driver’s seat of a van parked on a Queens street early Sunday, police said.
The victim was blasted three times in the torso inside the vehicle on 230th St. near 120th Ave. in Cambria Heights (photo) about 4:40 a.m., according to officials.
Cops responding ponding to a 911 call found the he man unconnscious and d unresponsive in the he driver’s seat. .
Medics rushed him m to Jamaica ca Hospital, where he died.
The man’s name was not immediately released and there have been no arrests.
His killing marks the fifth homicide this year in Queens’ 105th Precinct, compared to just two slayings in the same time period last year.
Murders aside, major crime is down 13% in the precinct this year.
