Slurs bounced right off him

THE BROOKLYN bar bouncer targeted by a racist ranter says it’s all part of the job.

Jose Arturo Lopez wasn’t the least bit fazed by the racist shouts of a loaded customer outside the House of Yes on Wyckoff Ave. near Jefferson St. in Bushwick early Friday.

“I’ve been doing this since 1995. I’ve seen it all and heard it all,” Lopez (photo inset) told the Daily News. “I have a thick skin. Somebody called me a name . . . It’s unfortunately part of the game.”

The belligerent bargoer was caught on video in a vicious tirade after claiming Lopez socked him outside the Brooklyn nightspot, according to the footage.

The foul-mouthed patron initially shoved a security guard and called her a homophobic slur on his way out the door around 3 a.m., according to witnesses.

He then took aim at Lopez, who told him to nix the name-calling. He responded by bellowing the N-word while on the phone to the cops after accusing Lopez of punching him, footage shows.

“Touch me again, you f---ing n----r. Touch me again,” he hollered for all to hear — including the 911 dispatcher on the other end.

“This dumb black guy is going to get his head through a wall,” the man shouted. “You better get a police officer here right now or else he’s going to end up in a coffin.”

The man who recorded the incident, Richard Cochegrus, 24, told The News that even if the bouncer had slugged him, “it still doesn’t give him a right to say what he did.” Uniformed officers were to the bar.

“They asked me if I wanted to press charges. I told them, ‘There’s no winning in this situation,’ ” Lopez said. “Somebody like that needs professional help.” soon dispatched
