JENKINS SHOULDER WOES

-

Outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins is dealing with a shoulder injury that has kept him out of team drills during the team’s offseason workouts, the Daily News has learned.

Jordan, who has started 30 consecutive games dating back to his rookie season, took part lightly in some special teams work at OTAs, but has yet to get any reps in team drills. Asked whether Jenkins will be ready in time for the start of training camp at the end of July, Bowles simply said, “We’ll see.”

Jenkins has been a reliable piece to the Jets defensive puzzle in his first two seasons. —Mehta
