Oh, scoot! Clooney hurt

“Up in the Air” actor George Clooney was briefly hospitaliz­ed after his motor scooter collided with a car in Sardinia.

Clooney was riding the scooter Tuesday morning when he collided with a vehicle near the town of Costa Corallina on the Italian island, according to La Nuova Sardegna.

The report said that the 57-year-old Oscar-winner was taken to the emergency room in nearby Olbia, but that injuries to his leg and arm were not serious.

He was traveling at 60 mph and was tossed 20 feet into the air when the collision occurred, his reps said. Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport reported that he was wearing a helmet.
